CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Friday through Sunday, 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call rotation required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM among staff members; on-call is approximately every 4-5 weeks
• On-call may be activated if a staff member calls out (typically 3rd shift) or if high patient volume requires additional support during multiple trauma cases
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Perform high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from newborns through geriatrics
• Perform inpatient, outpatient (weekend outpatient cases limited to 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM), emergency department, and scheduled interventional cases (Friday only)
• Required skills include starting IVs, contrast administration, biopsies, and use of PACS system
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Teal top and black bottom
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA)
• South Carolina state license must be in hand at time of start; pending licenses are not accepted
• Must have graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or completed a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification
