Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:15 PM to 6:45 AM with every third weekend required
• Two day shifts and one night shift per week scheduled; night shift coverage required when night shift staff requests time off
• Day shift hours run 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM on weekdays with every third weekend on day shift
• Guaranteed 72-80 hours per pay period
• No on-call required
• Primary patient population includes COPD and pneumonia cases
• All patient beds located on one floor with a 2-3 bed ICU on the same floor
• Busy outpatient surgery department during the week with an active emergency room
• Work with Puritan Bennett 840 ventilators and Nihon Kohden NKV-330 ventilators
• Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required; floating to sister facilities required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and RRT or CRT with West Virginia license
• Pending state license accepted for submission
• Time off requests must be submitted two weeks prior to next schedule and approved by manager
