PCU RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at OU Health in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a 12-hour shift position with a duration of 89 days, beginning August 31, 2026. Your weekly pay is $2,386.

In this role, you will deliver skilled nursing care to patients with medical and surgical conditions ranging from simple to complex. You will assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and manage their care throughout each shift.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Monitor and communicate changes in physician orders for assigned patients
• Assist the physician in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data, observe manifestations, and intervene as needed
• Administer medications as prescribed by the care team
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with patients and families to discuss the care plan during hospital stays and at discharge
• Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and expectations
• Make appropriate referrals for patient care needs to support personnel
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
