Operating Room RN Job in Detroit, Michigan

Harper Hospital Nursing Office is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 28, 2026, working three 8-hour day shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise delegated staff to ensure safe and appropriate care delivery
• Support facility nursing leadership in maintaining high-quality, safe patient care standards
• Monitor clinical staff competency and manage resources related to patient care
• Operate within the Operating Room environment located on the ground floor of the hospital

What to expect:

You will work in a dynamic surgical setting requiring attention to detail and strong teamwork. Navy blue scrubs are required attire for all OR staff. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a team-focused environment while providing essential perioperative nursing care.
