ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Rotating shifts or straight nights possible
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 22-bed ICU unit caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Proficiency with arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, and vasoactive drip titration required
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, CVP monitoring, and interpretation of dysrhythmias required
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and physical therapy
