Special Procedures Technologist

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• On-call required, rotating between two other techs
• Weekend coverage required every third weekend
• Daily caseload of 4 cases per tech
• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• General IR experience required; Neuro IR experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSA
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Perform Interventional Radiology procedures, Interventional CT/US, Stress Tests, and other radiology-related monitoring
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Charting system: Epic
• No parking cost
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule available upon manager approval based on unit needs
• Skills required include: Interventional Radiology, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Lead tech experience, Sterile Technique, and Neuro IR
