Sterile Processing Tech - Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus
• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
• Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
• Required certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM)
• Travel experience required
• Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, robotics, laparoscopic, orthopedics, neurology, urology, transplant, and use of washers/sterilizers
