Sterile Processing Technician Job in North Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health – Consolidated Services Center in North Charleston, South Carolina. This is a nights position working 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with holiday rotation.

Assignment Details:

• Weekly pay: $1,254
• Shift: 5x8 nights (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Monday–Friday
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Duration: 91 days
• Guaranteed hours with facility call-off allowance of 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Weekend rotation may be required
• Potential to float within scope to ART, Main, or West Campus sister facilities

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Prior travel assignment experience
• Level I Trauma center experience
• CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM) certification
• Demonstrated expertise in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap procedures

Preferred Experience:

• Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN cases

Required Skills:

• Acute hospital OR and ambulatory surgery center protocols
• Biological and chemical indicators
• High-level disinfection (HLD) and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
• Laparoscopic and robotics instrument handling
• Scope and probe reprocessing
• Sets and trays assembly
• Steam sterilization testing and monitoring
• Sterilization wrapping procedures
• Washer and sterilizer operation

Patient Populations:

You will support care for adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients across multiple surgical specialties.
