Sterile Processing Technician Job in North Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health – Consolidated Services Center in North Charleston, SC. This is a nights position working 5x8 hours, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation.

Assignment Details:

• Weekly pay: $1,254
• Start date: September 21, 2026
• Shift: 5x8 nights, Monday–Friday with holiday rotation
• Weekend rotation may be required
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Parking: $20 one-time payment for nights and weekends

Role Requirements:

You will perform sterile processing across multiple campus locations, including ART, Main, and West Campus. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities. You must have a minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience with Level I Trauma experience. First-time travelers are not accepted.

Experience & Certifications Required:

• Sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap sterile processing experience
• CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification
• Travel experience required
• Proficiency in sterilization wrapping, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, biological and chemical indicators, and equipment documentation
• Experience with washers and sterilizers

Preferred Case Experience:

Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN.

Equipment Experience:

Bronchoscopes, enteroscopes, fiber optics, crash carts, IV pumps, and PCA pumps.

Specialty Area Experience:

Cardiac, laparoscopic, robotics, orthopedics, neurology, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, urology, transplant, plastics, ENT, and general surgery.

Patient Population:

You will serve infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
