Sterile Processing Technician Job in North Charleston, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a 91-day travel assignment at MUSC Health - Consolidated Services Center in North Charleston, SC. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with holiday rotation.

About the Role

You will perform sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and equipment. Responsibilities include high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, sets and tray assembly, scope and probe reprocessing, sterilization wrapping procedures, and operation of washers and sterilizers. You will work with biological and chemical indicators and serve patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

You may be required to float or be permanently reassigned to ART, Main, or West Campus based on facility needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Travel experience required
• Current CBSPD and/or HSPA (IAHCSMM) certification
• Experience with sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap procedures
• Experience with biological and chemical indicators

Preferred Experience

Case experience in neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN.

Compensation and Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,115. The facility may call off one shift per two weeks as part of guaranteed hours policy. A one-time parking pass fee of $20 applies for nights and weekends.
