Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work on a high-volume post-surgical unit (6W Med/Surg Tele) caring for urology and GYN surgical patient populations
• Schedule options available: 3x12-hour shifts or 4x12-hour shifts
• Overtime paid after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules
• Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required
• Typical patient ratio is 1:7 for days, nights, and weekends
• Must be proficient in Epic; no exceptions
• Minimum of two years of recent relevant experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Active Virginia or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission required; no exceptions
• Required certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• Must be comfortable with skills including blood product administration, central line care and management, heparin protocols, telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, tracheostomy care, wound care and wound vac, and continuous bladder irrigation
• EKG testing required for this unit with a minimum passing score of 80%; only one attempt is given with no remediation available
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted; current address must be included with submission
• No candidates with any prior license or background hits will be considered; no exceptions
• Facility cannot accommodate a PAPR; any history of fit test issues will eliminate a candidate from consideration
