Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 36 hours per week required
• Rotating schedule: Sunday through Tuesday one week, followed by Sunday through Wednesday the next week
• Schedule includes some on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Perform and collect diagnostic information including pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, and blood gas analysis
• Conduct noninvasive and invasive diagnostic procedures
• Accurately assess patients through physical examination and diagnostic data interpretation
• Apply respiratory therapeutics including medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, and airway clearance
• Manage artificial airway insertion and care, as well as invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
• Assess patient reactions and results of therapeutic interventions in a timely manner
• Participate in discharge planning, case management, and public education activities focused on cardiopulmonary wellness
• Attend all mandatory safety in-services and department meetings
• Minimum two years of experience required
• Certification or registry from a college or technical school required
• Must maintain current, active Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Colorado
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
