Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Pikeville, KY

Pikeville Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time day shift position. You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week (excluding orientation and unit closures). This is a stable role in a hospital setting where you'll provide essential diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures
• Prepare patients and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols
• Maintain accurate patient registration using keyboard systems and electronic health records
• Chart clinical information in Epic
• Provide radiologic care for the diagnosis and treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
• Follow on-call and weekend/holiday scheduling as assigned
• Float to other departments as determined by facility needs

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine
• Associate Degree or Certificate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
• Current NMTCB or ARRT certification
• Kentucky State Certification in nuclear medicine
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Siemens Software and Epic charting systems

Compensation and Duration:

This position offers $3,024 weekly pay for a 168-week assignment beginning July 27, 2026. As a travel healthcare role, you'll have the opportunity to build your career while gaining experience in a dedicated nuclear medicine department.
