RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Varied work schedule
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed health care team members
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting required
• Experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area required
• Required certifications: Wyoming DFS, BLS, and ACLS
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
