MRI Technologist Job in Rochester, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking an MRI Technologist for a travel assignment at URMC Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. This is an overnight position working 8-hour shifts Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with on-call and callback requirements as needed by the unit. The assignment runs for 103 weeks, beginning September 28, 2026, at a weekly pay of $1,876.

Role Responsibilities

• Operate MRI machines efficiently and prepare patients for scanning procedures
• Insert IVs when necessary for diagnostic testing
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure timely delivery of results
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Respond to on-call and callback requirements per unit needs
• Work holiday shifts as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience
• GE scanner experience required
• Injection certification required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Certification through the ARRT required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• New York State Radiology Tech license required
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to stand for extended periods
