ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Patient ratios based on acuity
• Float required to meet needs of facility and department
• Emergency department sees approximately 130 visits per day across 37 rooms/beds
• Patients served include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Special equipment includes Belmont and bedside ultrasound
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with emergency room experience
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (American Heart Association only)
• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
• Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• During hurricane season (June through November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
