Job Details:

• Work weekdays, 4 days a week, with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• On-call responsibilities are required
• 2 years of experience in a Trauma OR setting required
• Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
• Nevada State RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CMP completed within 1 year of start date
• Work in a Level II Trauma OR consisting of 18 operating rooms
• Serve a patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• Common procedures include trauma, neurosurgery (ACDF, spinal fusions, cranial procedures), Da Vinci Xi robotics, urology, vascular, open hearts, general surgery, trauma ortho, pediatrics, plastics, and ENT
• Provide optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills within the nursing process
• Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs across all age groups
• Coordinate care between other medical professionals as needed
• Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment with volume and pace comparable to a Level I trauma center
