Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with on-call and/or holiday shifts required
• Weekend-only position also available
• On-call requirement of 40-60 hours per 6-week period, with 6 call shifts per 6-week period (may vary)
• Weekend shifts occur only when on call
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Circulating required; scrubbing preferred
• Must be well-rounded and current in most surgical areas; CV and Transplant experience not required
• Will float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Core 2 Days: must have experience in at least 3 of 4 ortho and trauma specialties
• Surgical specialties include: General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, Colorectal, and Robotics
• Skills required include: Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction, Arthroscopy, Arthrotomy, Carpal Tunnel Release, Closed Reduction of Fractures, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, General OR, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Open Reduction of Fractures, Ortho/Spine, Spinal Fusion, Total Joint Replacement, and Trauma
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Average daily census of 70-80 patients across 24 rooms
• Charting system: Cerner experience required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Parking is free
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Indiana, compact, or temporary license required at time of start
