Telemetry RN Job in Laveen, Arizona

Arizona General Hospital – Laveen is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our 16-bed medical surgical telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,125.44.

Position Details

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend schedule required
• First to float when floating is required
• May float to sister facility in Mesa when needed
• Holiday coverage required on rotating A or B schedule

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical surgical telemetry unit
• Care for post-surgical patients, including appendectomy and cholecystectomy cases
• Perform telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
• Use Cerner electronic health record system
• Document patient care in compliance with hospital protocols

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• Current RN license
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Valid driver's license at time of application
• Must pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts with a minimum 80% score prior to contract signing
• Must complete pass/fail simulation lab on Day 1 of orientation

Onboarding

• 2-day floor-specific orientation provided
• Prescreen and manager review required

Additional Requirements

• Navy blue scrubs required
• BSN not required
• 50-mile radius rule applies
• No employment with CommonSpirit facilities within the past year
