Telemetry RN Job in Clinton, SC

Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry to join the team on a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 16, 2026.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening cardiac and multisystem conditions. Your patient ratio will be 1:5, with a daily census of 14 patients across 20 total beds. Common diagnoses include sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.

Shift Details

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Night shift work
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on census needs
• Float assignment to like units or other facilities depending on census needs

Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor vasoactive infusions, IV antiarrhythmic therapy, and anticoagulation
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Perform EKGs and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Assist with defibrillation, cardioversion, and thoracentesis
• Provide comprehensive cardiac telemetry monitoring and patient assessment

Requirements

• Current South Carolina RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field; 1 year of recent experience will be considered
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

Support Services

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,020
