Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit at Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. This 26-bed medical surgical telemetry unit specializes in caring for hospitalized patients aged 65 and older.

Position Details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: November 9, 2026
• Weekly pay: $1,972
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Every other weekend required
• Must work 2 of 3 holidays
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide telemetry-capable care with focus on preserving cognitive and physical function in geriatric patients
• Perform IV starts, blood product administration, and central/peripheral/PICC line management
• Interpret dysrhythmias and manage remote telemetry monitoring
• Administer and manage Heparin protocols
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where qualified with documented competencies

Requirements:

• Active SC or multistate nursing license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year EPIC EMR experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in geriatric-focused care required
