Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment on the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit in Columbia, SC. You'll work 3x12 night shifts with an every-other-weekend requirement, earning $1,972 per week.

About the Role

The ACE unit is a 26-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit dedicated to patients aged 65 and older. You'll manage a patient ratio of 1:5 and provide telemetry-capable care with a focus on geriatric-centered practice. Your clinical responsibilities include IV starts, blood product administration, central/peripheral/PICC line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and remote telemetry monitoring, and heparin protocol management.

Requirements

• Active SC or multistate RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year EPIC EMR experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• MS/Tele experience and geriatric-focused care proficiency

What to Expect

First-time travelers are welcome. The facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Floating to other units or campuses may occur based on census needs, limited to areas where you have documented competencies. All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of placement.

Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
