Telemetry RN Job in Columbia, SC

Prisma Health Richland Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment on our Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit. This 26-bed medical surgical telemetry unit provides specialized care for hospitalized patients aged 65 and older.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 3x12 hour days per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Potential facility call-offs: up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, limited to areas where you have documented competencies

Qualifications

• Active SC or multistate RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required
• MS/Tele clinical experience
• Proficiency in IV starts, blood product administration, and central/peripheral/PICC line management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management skills
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience
• Knowledge of heparin protocols
• Geriatric-focused care expertise
• Previous charge experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Compensation

Weekly pay: $1,981
