About this role

You will work as a CT Technologist at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. This is a 98-week travel assignment with a 4x10 day shift schedule, working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with no call required. You'll earn $2,677 per week.

Role and Responsibilities

You will perform advanced CT imaging across a broad range of protocols and patient populations. Your daily work will include 3D rendering, abdominal imaging with and without contrast, brain perfusion studies, coronary CTA, colonography, enterography, multiplanar reconstruction, vascular CTA, and additional specialized techniques. You must be proficient with Siemens equipment and PACS systems. You will perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs as part of your scope. You'll manage radiation safety protocols, prepare and administer contrast media, and float within your scope of practice as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Allied Health Professional degree
  • Minimum 2 years of CT experience
  • Trauma Level I facility experience
  • ARRT CT certification
  • ARRT R certification
  • BLS certification
  • Virginia state license (pending license accepted; must be in hand prior to start)
  • Epic charting system experience
  • Ability to work with neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Community hospital experience
  • Trauma Level II facility experience

This assignment is subject to a 50-mile radius travel restriction. Local candidates are not accepted for this unit. The position begins September 28, 2026.
