CT Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. You will work a Tuesday through Friday schedule, 4x10 evenings (40 hours per week) for 91 days, starting September 14, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, musculoskeletal trauma, and transplant studies
• Work in a mixed environment of Emergency Department and Inpatient CT at the downtown location
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs
• Operate PACS and McKesson systems
• Serve patient age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Float within scope as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Siemens platform experience required; you should not have been away from Siemens for more than 1 year
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I experience required
• ARRT (R), ARRT (R)(CT), and BLS certifications required
• VA or compact state license required
• BSN preferred

A two-week onboarding and training period is provided with support before you work independently. Natural nail policy is in effect. Weekly pay is $2,880.
