CT Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

You will work as a CT Technologist at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026.

Schedule and Location

• 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Actual shift start time may vary ±2 hours with one week advance notice
• No on-call requirement
• One holiday per 13-week contract, rotated with staff
• May float to a nearby sister facility approximately half a mile away

Compensation

• $2,799 per week

Core Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Apply radiation safety protocols
• Perform CT imaging across head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and trauma studies
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and brain perfusion studies
• Work with diverse patient populations from neonates through geriatrics

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience required
• Prior travel healthcare assignment required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Must be located more than 100 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(R) certification
• ARRT(CT) certification
• Active Virginia state license in hand or valid license from another state while permanent Virginia license is processing
