CT Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

Childrens Hospital of Richmond at VCU is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Emergency Department. You will perform CT and X-ray imaging across a multimodality platform, serving emergency and inpatient cases for patients of all ages—from neonates and infants through geriatric populations.

• Schedule: 3x12 shifts, days
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: October 26, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,616

Your Responsibilities

You will operate CT scanners in the Emergency Department setting and may float to the main hospital location as needed within scope. Your daily work includes imaging protocols such as abdomen, brain perfusion, chest, virtual colonography, CT arthrography, head imaging, pelvis studies, and transplant studies. You will demonstrate proficiency in multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), PACS systems, contrast preparation and administration, and peripheral IV placement. EPIC charting experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT and X-ray multimodality experience (2 years preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification
• ARRT Advanced Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• VA or compact state license in hand at time of application
• 2 references required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in NICU, PICU, Adult ICU, and Level I Trauma settings
• Siemens equipment experience
• Community hospital background
• BSN degree
