CT Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Shift start time may vary +/- 2 hours based on unit needs with one week advance notice. There is no on-call requirement, though holidays are scheduled based on unit need and may fall outside your contracted days.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging across trauma, vascular, cardiac, musculoskeletal, pediatric, and neurological studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media according to protocols
• Apply radiation safety protocols consistently
• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Initiate peripheral IVs as needed
• Serve patients across all age groups from neonates through geriatrics
• Float to a nearby clinic location approximately half a mile from the primary facility as required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Current travel healthcare experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Virginia state license
• BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications
• Siemens CT equipment experience
• Epic charting system experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma Level I and Level II facility experience
• Community hospital background

This position offers weekly pay of $2,577 and begins November 2, 2026. You will work in a Level I Trauma center with opportunities to develop skills across diverse clinical scenarios and patient populations.
