CT Technologist Job in Richmond, VA

VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. You'll work Tuesday through Friday on a 4x10 nights shift, with a 91-day contract starting September 14, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,880.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of CT procedures across both the Emergency Department and inpatient CT settings at the downtown location. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting CT studies of the abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical spine, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, musculoskeletal trauma, and transplant studies
• Preparing and administering contrast media
• Starting peripheral IV lines
• Operating PACS and McKesson imaging systems
• Serving patient populations ranging from neonates and infants to geriatric patients
• Floating within scope as needed to support department needs

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience
• Current Siemens platform experience (no more than 1 year away from Siemens)
• Epic charting experience
• Trauma Level I facility experience
• Valid VA or compact state license
• ARRT (R), ARRT (R)(CT), and BLS certifications
• Natural nail policy compliance required

VCU Medical Center provides a two-week onboarding and training period with support before you work independently. A BSN is preferred. You will work in a dynamic Trauma Level I environment with exposure to diverse patient acuity and procedure types.
