CT Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, with a weekly pay rate of $2,562.

Schedule and Expectations

• 3x12-hour night shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Shift times may vary +/- 2 hours based on department needs, with one week advance notice
• No on-call requirement
• Holiday scheduling required based on unit need; you may be scheduled for holidays outside your contracted days
• May float to a nearby sister location approximately half a mile away

Your Role

• Prepare and administer contrast media with radiation safety protocol compliance
• Perform CT imaging across abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and pediatric studies
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, brain perfusion, and region of interest measurements
• Conduct procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and myelography
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Serve patients of all ages from neonates through geriatrics

Requirements

• Current Virginia state license
• BLS, ARRT(R), and ARRT(CT) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Siemens CT system experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
