PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 84 hours biweekly with 72-hour guarantee
• Strong cardiac background required - unit deals with heavy cardiac/CVA patient population
• Must be able to manage cardiac drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, Cardene, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, dopamine, dobutamine, and milrinone
• Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Patient ratios: 4 patients during days, 5 patients during nights
• 23-bed unit
• Float required to other PCUs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Skills required: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, management of cardiac and vasoactive drips, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission or prior to accepting offer
• Locals within 50 miles not accepted
