PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours guaranteed per week with three 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends
• Weekend rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• 2+ years of hospital experience required
• All travelers are required to float per the Methodist Floating Policy
• Perform peripheral IV starts, Foley and NGT insertions, cardiac monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Utilize Meditech documentation system (Meditech experience preferred)
• Experience with Endo Tool and ICU-level equipment required
• Required certifications: NIH, BLS, ACLS
• Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will NOT be accepted
• Dress code: Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail policy: Clean and healthy; hair should be neat with no extreme styles or colors
• Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
