NICU RN Job in Austin, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse to join St. David's Medical Center in Austin, TX for a 13-week contract assignment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This is your opportunity to deliver specialized care to our most vulnerable patients in a well-resourced 65-bed NICU.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks (91 days), starting November 9, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• On-call requirement: Yes
• Weekend shifts: 4 per schedule cycle
• Weekly pay: $1,791

Clinical Environment

• 65-bed NICU with 200+ team members
• Patient ratios: 1:1 to 4:1 depending on acuity
• Equipment: isolettes, ventilators, feeding pumps, IV pumps, breast pumps, and additional specialized technology
• EMR systems: Meditech and CPN
• Scrub color: Navy

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Level 4 NICU experience preferred
• Team player mentality with adaptability to clinical changes
