NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

Job Details:

• Minimum Level III NICU experience or higher required
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• On-call and weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type
• 26 weekend shifts per contract
• Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, NRP Advanced
• Care for neonatal and infant patient population
• Unit supports a daily census of 10 patients across 12 beds and 14 rooms
• Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Interpretation Services
• Required skills include but are not limited to: arterial line management, central line care, ECMO, high frequency ventilation, bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, ventilator management, therapeutic hypothermia, PICC lines, UAC/UVC catheter management, IV vasopressors, invasive hemodynamic monitoring, neonatal dosage calculations, dysrhythmia interpretation, and tracheostomy care
