ED - Emergency Room

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule is typically 7 days on, 7 days off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Maximum of one week requested time off (RTO) if needed
• Shifts may change during contract and may require covering day shift based on staffing needs
• Rotate regularly through the Main ED (11 beds), ED Fast Track (6 beds), and ED Observation Unit (7 beds)
• Assigned areas may include Triage, Quick Registration, and Entry Screening
• May be assigned a different area daily and rotated during shift depending on patient volume and unit needs
• Occasionally expected to float to other departments in which qualified to work, including taking a patient load or performing task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in Emergency Department specialty required
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification
