ED RN Job in Tucson, AZ

You will work as an RN in the Emergency Department at BUMC Tucson, located at 1625 N Campbell Ave. This is a travel position with a duration of 89 days, starting September 28, 2026.

Shift and Pay: You will work 3x12 nights at $2,408 per week.

Role Responsibilities:

• Float between two emergency departments: Tucson Campus (Level I Trauma Center) and South Campus (Level III)
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
• Delegate and supervise activities of health care team members including licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and orientation of staff, patients, and families

Physical Requirements: You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. You will use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent ED RN experience
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center
• Prior travel experience
• Current certifications: PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a 500+ bed hospital
• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
