ED RN Job in Phoenix, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department at Banner Estrella Medical Center, located at 9201 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ. This is a 3x12 night shift assignment running for 89 days, starting October 19, 2026. You will earn $2,434 weekly.

In this role, you will:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs, including discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans based on patient-specific needs and medical orders
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising care plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in the patient record
• Participate in unit and facility shared leadership initiatives to improve national nursing quality indicators and outcomes
• Precept and mentor facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors as appropriate

Requirements:

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, with experience in acute care within the past 12 months as an RN in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current certifications: BLS, TNCC, NIH
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
