ED RN Job in Glendale, AZ

Join Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ as an Emergency Department RN. This 89-day travel assignment offers a 3x12 day shift schedule at $2,416 weekly, starting November 9, 2026.

Your Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical directives
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise health care team activities to implement patient care plans
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators
• Precept and mentor staff as appropriate

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting, with specialty experience within the past 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Certifications: ENPC, TNCC, and/or ATCN
• Professional certification
