Telemetry RN Job in Highlands, NC

You'll work as an RN in the 24-bed acute care telemetry unit at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, providing direct patient care on a 3x12 night schedule (6:45 PM–7:15 AM). This is a 91-day travel assignment starting June 15, 2026.

What You'll Do

• Care for 6–7 acute care patients per shift
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to patient needs in a unit where floating is rare
• Manage advanced wound care and minor procedures at bedside
• Use the Cerner documentation system
• Work with standard medical and surgical equipment
• Deliver service-oriented care to an affluent community patient population

What You'll Need

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience with geriatric patients or prior inpatient rehabilitation experience with swing bed patients
• Strong advanced wound care skills

Unit Environment

You'll work in a close-knit setting with excellent teamwork culture. Note that there is no dedicated unit secretary, tech, or additional RN support when tech is unavailable, so you'll manage many tasks independently. Dress code is all navy or navy top with white bottoms.

Compensation & Schedule

Weekly pay is $1,839.60. You work three 12-hour night shifts per schedule, giving you time off between assignments.
