Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend required - non-negotiable
• No on-call required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Block schedule requests can be submitted for approval prior to assignment but are not guaranteed
• New unit currently with 10 beds open, staffed with 2 RNs and 1 tech per shift
• 24/7 house supervisor coverage available
• Leadership available by phone during off-shift hours
• Bedside monitoring with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse ox capabilities
• Patients include adults and geriatrics with common medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, CAD, ESRD, chronic respiratory illnesses, and arrhythmias
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Experience with telemetry interpretation of dysrhythmias and telemetry unit monitoring required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
