About this role

SRHS (Spartanburg)–Pelham Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts over a 91-week assignment beginning July 20, 2026, earning $2,169 weekly.

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients (18 years and older) with medical and surgical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and oxygen saturation via remote telemetry. You will manage patients on peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis, administer blood products, maintain central lines and PICC lines, and support cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration required). Your work includes cardiac telemetry interpretation, dysrhythmia management, wound care, wound vac management, and PCA support. The facility uses the Mindray cardiac monitoring system.

Schedule & Staffing

You will float to 3rd or 4th floor Med/Surg Tele units as needed. Patient ratios are 1:5 across all shifts and weekends. In addition to your scheduled shifts, you must complete either 2 on-call shifts per 6 weeks or 2 additional shifts per 6 weeks, as specified in your contract. Orientation requires 36 hours. All requested time off must be included in your initial submission; requests made after the fact will not be considered. Attendance expectations are firm: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract cancellation.

Requirements & Qualifications

You must hold current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications. A minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience is preferred; 1+ year of experience will be considered case-by-case. You must pass a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and Medication Test on your first day of orientation (one attempt allowed). Community hospital experience and familiarity with Epic charting are preferred. You may be required to shave to pass a fit test onsite.

Support & Services

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
