Telemetry RN Job in Easley, SC

Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Telemetry unit. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 27, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,592.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x12 nights (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Patient ratio: 5:1
• Unit census: 20–30 patients across 29 available beds
• Every other weekend coverage required, subject to change based on unit need
• Floating to other like units at this facility or nearby facilities in the Upstate region is required

Patient Population and Clinical Focus

You will care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including respiratory failure, COPD, respiratory distress, pneumonia, pulmonary edema, hypoxia, shortness of breath, sepsis, urinary tract infection, congestive heart failure, hypo/hyperglycemia, and weakness or debility.

Required Clinical Skills

• Central line care and management
• Feeding tube care and management
• Heparin protocols
• Dysrhythmia interpretation
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• Telemetry and remote monitoring
• Nasal cannula and oxygen tank management
• Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA)
• Peripheral and PICC line care and management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Wound care and wound vac management

Interdisciplinary Support

You will collaborate with physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Prior travel healthcare assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and South Carolina RN license
• Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours of receiving login information
