Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Lancaster, OH

Fairfield Medical Center — River Valley Campus is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient therapy services in Lancaster, Ohio. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 15, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 ten-hour days per week (or 5 eight-hour days, your choice)
• Days shift, no weekends or holidays required
• Weekly pay: $3,052

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish appropriate treatment goals based on disabilities caused by disease, injury, dysfunction, or physical, cognitive, or perceptual limitations
• Plan and carry out individualized treatment plans
• Document evaluations and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Attendants in accordance with state laws and department guidelines
• Supervise and mentor volunteers and students in adherence with department guidelines and APTA standards
• Participate in budgeting, department goal-setting, and work instruction revision
• Provide in-service training and education to team members
• Assist with Physical Therapy promotional activities and program development

Physical Demands

This position involves heavy work requiring exertion of up to 50–100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 25–50 pounds of force frequently. You must adhere to hospital isolation protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
• Valid Ohio Physical Therapy license
• Minimum one year of experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to problem-solve, handle multiple priorities, and make independent decisions
