OR Registered Nurse Job in Ketchum, Idaho

St Lukes Wood River Medical Center is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 19, 2026. You will work 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call responsibilities.

Schedule and On-Call Requirements

• Weeknight call: Typically 4 weeknights per month, 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning
• Weekend call: Typically 1 full weekend per month, Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Holiday call may be assigned if a holiday falls during your contract period
• Must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call

Role Expectations

You will care for patients across orthopedic total joints, sports medicine, hands, trauma, general surgery, gynecology, C-sections, and endoscopy cases. The OR operates 4 surgical suites plus 1 endoscopy suite, averaging 8 cases per day. You will assist with cleaning and turning over operating rooms alongside the orderly team and float to endoscopy coverage as needed.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years OR experience with strong orthopedic background
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Endoscopy experience required
• BLS certification required; ACLS recommended
• BSN not required

Systems and Support

You will chart in Epic, use TDOC for instrument tracking, and ProVation for endoscopy documentation. Five days of unit-specific orientation are provided with a dedicated preceptor.

Logistics

• Weekly pay: $2,890
• Blue scrubs provided; OR shoes required
• Client may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
