Operating Room RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Operating Room. This position offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,321 with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and flexible scheduling to meet your career goals.

Assignment Details

• 13-week assignment beginning October 12, 2026
• 4x10 day shifts, 6:30 AM–4:30 PM (subject to rotation and call coverage)
• Operating room located on the 2nd floor of the main building
• Shift and call flexibility required; typical call shifts are 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
• Rotate weekend call every four weeks; evening and night coverage Monday through Thursday as needed
• Average 50 hours of surgical time Monday through Friday; weekend coverage varies
• Maximum effort to keep combined work and call hours under 60 per week

Facility Information

• Supports up to 10 operating rooms with staffing levels adjusted by time and day of week
• EMR system: Meditech
• Typical procedures: burn care (wound debridement, skin grafting), dental, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, open heart, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, psychiatry (ECT), robotics, trauma, and urology
• Overnight trauma coverage available (11:00 PM–7:00 AM with 1 RN and 1 CST)
• Weekend trauma coverage runs 7:00 AM–7:00 AM with Saturday call team 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of operating room experience
• Trauma experience required
• Idaho RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Burn, robotic, and neuro experience preferred
• Shift and call flexibility required
