OR RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Idaho Falls, ID. You will work a 4x10 day schedule at $2,321 per week, with your primary shift from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Role Overview

You will provide perioperative nursing care in a busy OR located on the 2nd floor of the main building. The facility operates multiple shift windows and trauma coverage around the clock. You are expected to demonstrate flexibility with call shifts and weekend rotations as part of the team model.

Schedule & Expectations

• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Monday–Friday shifts across multiple windows: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–5:00 PM, 5:00 PM–7:00 PM, 7:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend trauma coverage 7:00 AM–7:00 AM; Saturday includes additional call team for two rooms, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• Rotate weekend call every four weeks; call shifts typically 2, 4, 8, or 12 hours
• Two evening or night call shifts per week and two weekend shifts per month required
• Average 50 hours of surgical time Monday–Friday; weekends vary with heavier Saturday volume
• All efforts made to keep combined work and call hours under 60 per week

Required Qualifications

• RN degree with current Idaho RN license (required at time of submission)
• 3+ years operating room experience
• Trauma experience required
• BLS certification
• Shift and call flexibility

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Burn, robotic, or neuro experience

Procedures & Specialties

Cases include burn (wound debridement, skin grafting), dental, ENT, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, neurosurgery, open heart (CABG, fempop, fistulas), ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, psychiatry (ECT), robotics, trauma, and urology.
