Occupational Therapist Job in Oklahoma City, OK

You will provide occupational therapy services in an acute care setting at OU Health in Oklahoma City, working 8-hour shifts. Your caseload will include 11–12 patients per day, with a treatment goal of 8 patients daily.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting physician referrals and selecting appropriate standardized evaluation procedures
• Evaluating patients across independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills
• Developing treatment plans with short and long-term goals, including frequency and duration of treatment based on evaluation data
• Implementing individual and group treatment activities under physician direction
• Assisting patients through design and fabrication of adaptive equipment, orthotic devices, joint protection techniques, and body mechanics instruction
• Communicating treatment goals and progress to patients and families
• Contributing to discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patients on home therapy plans
• Supervising students as needed

Position details: This is an 89-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026. You will earn $1,743 per week. Acute care, trauma, and critical care experience is preferred. An Oklahoma occupational therapy license is preferred for this role.
