About this role

Join Tide Health Group - Purcell Care Center as an Occupational Therapist in a long-term care setting. This 91-day travel position offers a stable schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week, with no on-call or weekend requirements.

Your Role:

  • Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders, developing appropriate plans of care using standardized assessments and evidence-based practice
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device instruction
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly, documenting all information in the electronic system per regulatory requirements
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services based on patient evaluation and clinical response
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and service providers regarding physical disorders and rehabilitation needs
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans
  • Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries meeting regulatory and clinical standards
  • Accurately record treatment minutes for all services provided per regulatory requirements
  • Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings
  • Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students

Requirements:

  • Active Oklahoma OT license at time of submission
  • Minimum 1+ years of OT experience
  • Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
  • Skills checklist completion within 1 year
  • Adherence to NBCOT and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics requirements

Compensation: $2,471 weekly. Assignment begins September 14, 2026.
