Job Details:

• Varied work schedule with potential float between ICU and PCU units
• Potential on-call responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plan of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to plan and revise patient care as needed
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed and non-licensed healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plan of care as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and orientation of personnel
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice required
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and assisting patients with ambulating and transferring
