ICU RN Job in Mesa, Arizona

You will provide direct patient care in our intensive care unit at Banner Desert Medical Center, located at 1400 S Dobson Road in Mesa, Arizona. This is a 3-day, 12-hour shift position with a duration of 89 weeks, starting November 16, 2026. You will earn $2,434 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and the medical plan of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop realistic and measurable patient goals
• Delegate and supervise activities of licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate, and legible documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in shared leadership and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in ICU specialty area within the past 12 months
• Stroke experience required
• NIHSS certification required
• BLS certification required

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification
